Chapter Meetings
The chapter meets on the third Sunday of each month in Madisonville at the KFC Restaurant located on Madison Sq. Dr. From the Pennyrile Parkway take Exit #42 and head west toward Madisonville. Then at the first light turn left (south) onto Madison Sq. Dr. and KFC will be on the right.
Rolling Thunder "Ride for Freedom"
Many people know Rolling Thunder® from the annual demonstration and "Ride for Freedom" to Washington, DC during Memorial Day weekend where an estimated 500,000 motorcycles participate each year. read more
POW/MIA Flag Raisings
The chapter supplies POW/MIA flags ($40 each) to courthouses, fire departments, post offices, veterans memorials, various organizations and interests groups, and organizes flag raising ceremonies promoting public awareness about the POW/MIA issue.
Western KY Veterans Center, Hanson, KY
On Father's Day weekend each year proceeds from the annual poker run are donated to the Western KY Veterans Center. Chapter members adopted the center when it opened and continue to visit the residents for the annual Christmas visit with the residents.
Poker Runs/Fund Raisers
Poker Runs are held twice a year to assist hospitalized and disabled veterans. In addition to the one at the Veterans Center another poker is held in Evansville IN later in the year. POW/MIA product sales add to the proceeds distributed to local veterans agencies throughout the year
