Veterans Support: Memorials
1955 Chevy Dedicated to our POW/MIA's - This is a great Classic
This car was built as a tribute to the 2,211 American servicemen who
are listed as Prisoners of War/Missing in Action during the Vietnam War
from 1959 - 1975.
Arlington National Cemetery
For the almost four million people who visit
annually, Arlington National Cemetery represents
many different things. For some, it is a chance to walk among
headstones that chronicle American history; for many, it is an
opportunity to remember and honor the nation's war heroes; and
for others, it is a place to say a last farewell during funeral
services for a family member or friend.
Korean War Veterans Memorial
The passing of more than four decades has
brought a new perspective to the war and
its aftermath. The time has come, in the eyes of the Nation,
to set aside a place of remembrance for the people who served
in this hard-fought war half a world away. The Korean War Veterans
Memorial honors those Americans who answered the call, those
who worked and fought under the trying of circumstances, and
those who gave their lives for the cause of freedom.
Names on the Vietnam Wall
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall USA website
is dedicated to honoring those who died in
the Vietnam War. Since it first went on line in 1996 it has evolved
into something more. It is now also a place of healing for those
affected by one of the most divisive wars in our nation's history.

Three Servicemen Statue
The Three Servicemen Statue at the Vietnam
Veterans Memorial captures a full range
of emotions. Taken as a whole, the statue symbolizes
the spirit of compromise and reconciliation. Like the the Vietnam
War itself, the controversy over the creation of the Vietnam
Veterans Memorial divided America while inflicting deep wounds
among the veterans.
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
The Tomb contains the remains of unknown
American soldiers from World Wars I and II,
the Korean Conflict and (until 1998) the
Vietnam War. Each was presented with the Medal of Honor at
the time of interment and the medals, as well as the flags
which covered their caskets, are on display inside the Memorial
Amphitheater, directly to the rear of the Tomb.
U.S.S. Liberty
This web site is dedicated to the memory
of thirty-four fine young men who gave
their lives on June 8, 1967, defending the
USS Liberty against a sustained air and sea attack by the armed
forces of the State of Israel
Vietnam Veterans Memorial
The Wall, the first part of the memorial
to be erected, was dedicated November 13,
1982. Today 58,245 names are inscribed on
the wall. The wall includes the names of deceased and missing.
The goal of the memorial was to allow all people to reflect
on the price of war and to honor those who served.
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
To preserve the legacy of the Vietnam Veterans
Memorial, to promote healing and to educate
about the impact of the Vietnam War.
Vietnam
Women's Memorial Foundation
The Vietnam Women’s Memorial was established not only
to honor those women who served, but also for the
families who lost loved ones in the war, so they would
know about the women who provided comfort, care, and a
human touch for those who were suffering and dying.
